Katey and Brenn met during a networking event and became fast friends. Katey had been with her organization about 2 years and was considered an up-and-comer in her organization. Brenn understood how her friend felt – and had been there many times during her own career. Brenn then offered her friend this piece of wisdom:

Brenn reminded Katey that working very long hours to make sure everything was done, didn’t have to be part of the “other duties as assigned” in her job description.
Brenn then went on to share two other things:
